Kingdom's 4th match, Sheffield

Unread post by lesley thirkell »

Team Kingdom competed in Sheffield this weekend at the final match of the season and the team included many Fife AC U17/U20 athletes. We had a great weekend, despite a 4 hour breakdown beside the A1 on the way south, with most of the time spent sitting in a sheep field (!), and dodging torrential downpours during the match. There were some excellent performances and I'm pasting in the team report. As there are about 40 athletes in the team, it's not possible to mention everyone and there were many other strong performances - apologies for the omissions! Full results can be found at http://www.ukydl.org.uk/page4.html Premier 2 (not there yet!). Our thanks to the athletes - they were incredibly well behaved and very good company, they all tried their best and were a pleasure to spend weekends with this summer. We would also like to thank all the coaches, who have been very supportive and understanding, and the parents for their support and patience.

If you have any Kingdom-related questions, please let me know.
