Beveridge Park and Ravenscraig ark Races 2016

Proposed dates for the Beveridge Park and Ravenscraig Park Races 2016 - (STRICTLY FOR DISCUSSION AT THIS POINT)

Following Paul Roarty's decision to step down from the excellent job that he did with the Ravenscraig Park Series, the task has fallen to me to try and continue his legacy and allow him the freedom to once again take part in this race.

With this in mind, these are the dates I propose to hold the Beveridge Park and Ravenscraig Park races in 2016.I will stress that these are not fixed at the moment as I still do not know the date of the Black Rock Race and some of these other dates are probably not perfect. This is where I will need peoples help. If anyone sees any possible conflicts here could they please let me know.


Beveridge Park 5K August 2016 - 12-Aug
Beveridge Park 5K July 2016 - 15-Jul
Beveridge Park 5K June 2016 - 17-Jun
Beveridge Park 5K May 2016 - 20-May
Beveridge Park 5K April 2016 - 15-Apr

Ravenscraig Park 2 x 1 Mile Relay August 2016 - 16-Aug
Ravenscraig Park 1 Mile July 2016 - 12-Jul
Ravenscraig Park 1 Mile June 2016 - 28-Jun
Ravenscraig Park 1 Mile May 2016 - 24-May
Ravenscraig Park 1 Mile April 2016 - 26-Apr
Ravenscraig Park 2 Mile March 2016 - 29-Mar

Good on Dan for getting organised early. Fixture setting is a complicated business these days. Whatever happened to the club xc and road sub committee that would plan well in advance to avoid fixture clashes.
