A local farmer has kindly allowed us the use of his large field to hold a run, race, hard training session for Fife AC, Scrambled Legs and Wizards.
The third event is a Tortoise and Hare Relay which will be held on Saturday 24th October, starting time is 11am, please meet at 10.45 in the field to be put into teams.
The course is proper cross country with some longish grass, rough underfoot and undulating, there will be no markers and a few marshals as the course is self evident it is a grass margin round a stubble field. The field has been sown please do not run/walk over the crop.
Entries will open via email training007x@gmail.com, on Saturday 17th October and close Thursday 22nd or when the race limit is reached.
The race limit is 20 teams of 2, we will pair up the teams.
Please bring your own pins, you will be issued with a number in the field.
Everyone must park in either the hall or the church car park, then walk to the start (see map on previous posts) social distancing on the way, be mindful of the traffic and locals. Please do not bring a car load of spectators, and don't hang about after you have run.
Distances are approx 2k per lap
Hare will do 3 and the tortoise 2 alternating laps.
Any questions phone Dave Francis on 01334 655627
