HILL OF TARVIT RACE, 6 JUNE 2018 - HELP PLEASE

Unread post by Frank McLaren »

If you are available to assist at the above race on Wednesday, 6 June 2018, please post here.

Ken Morris is organising this year's race and will need help at registration, at the start and finish lines, marshals out on the course, and in the kitchen to prepare and serve the teas in the hall. Your assistance would be much appreciated.

Any contribution towards the post-race teas would be gratefully accepted.

I am sorry to let you down, but I have developed a 'bug' - an upper respiratory tract infection as the GPs call it - and so I don't feel able to help out at this race. I hope that you do find enough helpers to ensure that no runners go off course, as they have done too often in previous years at this event.

I don't understand why FAC, with hundreds of members, seems to rely on a small band of volunteers for nearly every race that FAC organises.
