Club XC Championship
The club cross country championship will be held on Sunday 18th December at Balwearie Golf Club, Kirkcaldy, with race start times as follows :
13:30 U11 and U13 - 2 miles
13:50 U15 and U17 - 3 miles
14:10 Open - 5miles
All distances approximate. The courses are mainly grass, with the open race incorporating some farmland. There are short sections of stone path and artificial turf, so not suitable for spikes. There are some changing facilities but no showers.
The presentations will take place in the clubhouse at 15:30. The golf club have offered to provide some catering free of charge but we need to give them approximate numbers, so please post on website or facebook if you are coming.
There is no entry fee for this event.
As a bonus, the golf club have as part of their Christmas festivities an appearance by Santa and his reindeer at 16:00, followed by a firework display.
This is a club event but friends of the club and regulars at our races are most welcome - but will not be eligible for championship medals.
We hope to see many of you on the 18th.

Hi Guys,
I'd like to join you for the club XC Champs if weather allows (this week in Nairn we had -8degrees C one day and +16degrees C the next - a 24 degree difference in 24 hours so never know what to expect!) Seriously old category please...

Myself and Tom-think plenty of others will be doing it according to the chat at the Bob Stark race.
