Ronan,

Where from? I'm going from the St Andrews area if that's any use.

Guys,
I'm really sorry, but I have now done something to my ankle and can't run! Couldn't even jog round parkrun route to check it this morning, had to do it on the bike. Not sure what I have done, but I'm out of running for a wee while, which means no relays for me. Sorry!! :e:

Apologies to Liam Sleigh, Andrew Murphy and Scott Cassidy for not being able to run faster over the final stage of the men's 4 x 4km relay today. Well done to Roger Rees who performed miracles of team management made even more difficult by the non appearance of athletes. With the over 40 and over 50 quartets set up I was the only remaining runner on hand to step into the A team. I hope that this will inspire Fife AC juniors/seniors/veterans up to fifty years younger than myself to turn out at Stirling next Saturday. I will be overjoyed if you would turn out (for Roger's last event as club President) to dislodge me from the A team.

Congrats to........Stuart Aitken, Adam Scott and Logan Rees....boys 3 x 2.5km bronze medallists. Fabulous turn out of boys for the club. Abbie Steggles, Katy Aitken and Annabel Simpson (5th fastest lap)....6th in the girls race. Plus Stephanie Pennycook, Jennifer Kibble and Halina Rees 4th in the women's championship.
