The 7th Giffordtown 5K Road Race - Incorporating Fife A.C Short Course (5k) Road Race Championship!

This year the Giffordtown 5K incorporates the Fife A.C Short Course Road Race Championship! There will be awards in all age groups from U20 - V70 M/F. Club championship result placings in all age groups will be posted on the forum shortly after the main results. The presentation of the club championship awards will take place at the Fife A.C AGM on Wednesday 23rd October 19:30 at the Howe of Fife Rugby Club, Cupar.

Race: Giffordtown 5K Road Race

Distance: 5K ( An out and back flat - fast course on a quiet country road. Accurately measured 5K - UKA Course measurer Alan Young in 2011 with Course measurement Certificate )

Venue: Giffordtown Hall, Charlottetown, Fife KY15 7UJ

Date: Sunday 06/10/13

Start time: 11:00am ( Registration from 09:45 - 10:55 in the Giffordtown hall. )

Entry Fee: £4 SA Affiliated / £6 Non Affiliated / £2 U20

Prizes: 1st Male/Female - Trophy. 2nd and 3rd M/F - Medal. 1st U20, V40, V50, V60 and V70 M/F - Medal. + Wine and cash!

Course Record Bonus: £50 Male 15:42 / Female 17:02 First Male/Female to go under records will receive £50 and Trophy!

Toilets: Situated in hall.

Changing: Clothes can be left in the hall or at the start/finish at own risk.

I could still do with someone to input the entry names on the club computer.

It would be much appreciated if anyone could bring along some home bakes or biscuits etc for the after race spread.

Just wondering if anyone knew who has the Fife A.C banner? Thinking it would look good at the finish.
