Planning a come-back at Newburgh tomorrow  but having eschewed even the thought of any pre-race build-up training :problem: I could be seriously worrying the tail of the field :p:

Brian, don't look over your shoulder at me trailing you in the race for the Golden Syringe  ..concentrate on Craig Love ( he must have quite a total now ? ) ... maybe we could get together and beat him up  if we could catch him

For all the usual suspects (you know who you are)
It's the Balmashanner Hill race on Friday 12/7 @730pm see http://www.forfarroadrunners.co.uk

I've been stealthily creeping along this year, with tonight's race being my 45th of the year so far - so I could be a contender this year......unless of course the old injuries play up!!

Just for the info' of those previous connoisseurs of the Balmashanner Hill Race who missed out this year :-
Due to the needs of the local sheep-farming community, Forfar RR's were forced to change the route from it's usual three complete climbs over Balmashanner Hill (each from a different direction) to...

...FOUR complete climbs!!

but there was still beer & bridies afterwards :m:

and I was last :i:

..and for past aficianados of the Tower hill race at Laurencekirk :-
Due to the exigencies of local coos seeking pastures new, this year's course was extended by an extra half mile ( just what I needed  )
so putting that down as a PB ;) although still last
