Small tweak made to the legs for the seniors (edited in post). Hopefully wont need to make to many updates.
Also, if any runners think I don't have their mobile can they please text me on 07821096836. It's useful to be able to contact everyone directly without having to rely on people checking the forum. Feel free to contact me on that number if you need to.

Hi Mike
I would like to be considered for any leg please MV40. Iain Gourley.
My son Andrew Gourley who is 15 years of age would also like to run. I understand he could only do leg 1 or 4.
Thanks
Iain

Re: Men's teams for Devil's Burdens
We now have enough runners for three complete teams. The teams will be as follows (I will keep the list update as runners come and go):
Men's senior team:
L1: Jonny Logan
L2: Olivier Penacchio, Nic Brew (capt.)
L3: Harvey Rankin, Simon Anetts
L4: James Barnet
Men's V40 team:
L1: Hendrik van Rensburg
L2: Jez Tomlinson, Calum Harvie
L3: Mike MacDonald (capt.), James Hall
L4: Paul Webb
Men's Open:
L1: Andrew Gourley
L2: Stewart Dillon, Will Goad (capt.)
L3: Rick Booth, Stuart Macdonald
L4: Iain Gourley
Reserves:
Akira O'Connor (senior), Clive Roberts (V50)
I will put in the forms and payments for all these teams. If you can bring along £3 each (I think that is the cost for Fife members) on the day to cover this it would be appreciated.
The first recce is planned for this Saturday at the same time as the one organised by John McIntyre Snr, so starting at 9:30 am from the duckpond carpark on Falkland Estate. I plan to do most of legs 1 and 4 and John is planning to do leg 2. I plan to do a combination of legs 2 and 3 the following Saturday, probably the same time, same place. Best to bring the same kit as is required in the race: WATERPROOF jackets /trousers & hats/gloves which can be stuck in your bum bag as long as carried but there if needed, WHISTLE COMPASS /MAP / MOBILE PHONE
If you are named in a team but cannot make any of the planned reccies I strongly recommend checking out your leg independently. If you know the Lomonds well you should have no problem, but ALL the legs have some route finding or planning required. Having seen many people from various different clubs post reccies on Strava, it seems that quite a few are making some poor route choices, so knowing what you need to do is essential.

Re: Men's teams for Devil's Burdens
Hello - I've been away past few days, so (obviously) wasn't there this morning, but will be there next Saturday and might take myself up for a wee scout around tomorrow.
