Winter Season 2019-2020

Unread post by Ron Morrison » Thu Aug 01, 2019 4:39 pm

Before anyone asks me for it I have just sent out this list of what I think/know are the major dates from now through the 2019-2020 winter season.

This is it. From the organisation point of view the highlights for the club are the Scottish Trail Championships on 1/9/2019 at Falkland and the Scottish Short Course Championships at Kirkcaldy on 9/11/2019.

Additional HILL RACES:
( Local good one: Lomonds of Fife online Si Entries 18th August)
Broughton Heights Hill Race Sat 24th Aug -Scottish Athletics Championship and also East District Championships-could do with fast women racers for this, medals up for grabs and teams important
saturday September 28th,The Two Breweries-a LONG CLASSIC and more crucially the 5th race in the Scottish Hillrunners Championship 6 race series-more runnable than the other Longs and if you're fast enough to follow the main pack not a navigation worry. We really need FAC women hillrunners out for this to back up Heather Anderson who has been doing well in the series.Aim is to regain our FAC ownership of the Vet40 team category and doing well so far-but also in SENIOR women if the younger women hillrunners could turn out to back up Heather! ...Please consider this one ( and let me,Jocelyn, know if you can do it 07942004487) You don't need to have done any of the other races to count for us in the series.
October 26th 6th and final Hill race in the SHR series Meall a'Bhuchaille-all FAC hillrunners welcome!
