Details below and on Scottish athletics website-Let's flood the event with Fifers! Get a good load of red and white vests out and see what happens! Note below that this event offers excellent courses for those relatively new to hillrunning,so no excuses accepted.If you managed to turn out for us at local hill races,you can do this one! An awayday down to Broughton Place Farm...we have the hillrunners,great juniors too-let's go for it-Put it in your diaries now,we can help organise lifts-just get entered online( for us adults) SiEntries-think the juniors enter on the day,but check this. Loads of medals in all categories on offer- but irrespective of how we do,would be great to support our medal hopes like Heather Anderson and the speedy adventurous hillrunning juniors! Spread the word and post here if you can do it/have entered...

Broughton Heights Hill Race incorporating the 2019 scottishathletics National and East District Hill Running Senior Championships.

Route 9.6km, with 600m ascent/descent. Saturday 24th August 2019, 13:00 start

The scottishathletics National Hill Running Senior Championships is open to scottishathletics members born in 1999 or before.

The scottishathletics East District Hill Running Senior Championships is open to scottishathletics members born in 1999 or before who qualify via club, birth, parentage or 9 month residency. Note the East District for hill running championship purposes aligns to the cross country, road and track East District area, which comprises the old regional areas of Borders, Lothian, Fife, Central and Tayside, and also Aberdeenshire.

There will be junior races for U20 (born 2000/01/02), U17 (born 2003/04), U15 (born (2005/06), U13 (born 2007/08) and U11 (born after 2008, minimum age 6) which will be entry on the day only. The U20 and U17 races will be hosting the Junior Home International trial races.

All the races are open to all, with eligibility only required for the championships and trials. The courses are excellent for those relatively new to hill running.
