Well done to everyone who ran at the first ED league race in Stirling last weekend! It was great to see so many Fife AC runners and the results are online here: http://www.salroadrunningandcrosscountr ... 018-9.html
Information about the league (dates, venues) can be found here: http://www.salroadrunningandcrosscountr ... 0Home.html
The next race is on 24 November at Broxburn Academy, with the third and last race on 19 January in Livingston. It would be really good to keep up the momentum from the start of the cross country season and get a good turnout at these next races too - especially if you are new to cross country and thinking of giving it a go. There's no need to pre-register for these races; you can just turn up (in your Fife AC vest) and run. Fife AC run wearing a number 8, which you can collect from the club tent on the day. League races are a great team day out and a low-pressure introduction to cross country. The courses are suitable for spikes or trail shoes (especially as there's no league race at Alloa this year, which has sometimes been a tiny bit muddy ).
If you want to know more about these races, feel free to e-mail me or Halina at seniorwomenxcroad@fifeac.org and we'll try to help!
