Has anyone got a photo of Frank in his heyday running? ( Will check out gallery but know he was a really fast runner in the past as well as the Frank we knew over recent years).

Such sad news received Down Under here re old friend and running colleague Frank. Frank was a great part of our team in the late 80's 1990's turning out in hill races, East League and Championship Xc's. What is possibly unknown by many these days is that Frank initiated and organised the Pitmedden Forest Race for many years in early December...our excuse not to go Christmas shopping.
Back then we would call in at the Harbour Bar, Kirkcaldy or the Cycle Tavern, Auchtermuchty where Frank was the life and soul of the party. I'll never forget the story of Frank and Tom Ross camping out after the Two Breweries Race, they tried to get a donkey in Des Crowe's tent. Failing that they put two hens in his sleeping bag. Frank, like many back then encouraged and helped transport the youngsters...Andrew L, Owen and Thomas Greene, Chris and Jonny Seeley, and many more. We were a real solid group back then, singing the night away especially after the National XC bus trips to Irvine. Frank was renowned for his Hunchback of Notre Dame impersonation leaping on the pub tables.
They broke the mould when they made you Frank.
Please will someone pass on at funeral ......I'm thinking of Davina and Selina and Co. down here.
