Two incredible and inspiring results we'd like to mention from Fife AC's athletes at last Saturday's St Andrews Parkrun -
George Black set a new record for cat VM75-79 completing the run in 21:46.
We believe it is the first sub 22min run recorded in Britain for the 75/79 age category.
The previous record of 22:02 was set 30 minutes earlier by English runner Roger Wilson, as Parkruns take place at 0900 in England.
George would like to give a special thanks to Ken Morris and Bill Simpson.
Also setting a new female record for the Park Run on Saturday was Anna Hedley,finishing in a time of 17:40!
