Fife AC is delighted to announce that the Robertson Trust has made an award of £18,000 to the Club paid over three years, to part fund the salary of our Club Together and Community Officer. The remainder of the salary comes from Scottish Athletics, Fife Council and Fife AC and the Officer is employed by Scottish Athletics. Fife AC recognises the help and support given to us by Scottish Athletics, as part of the Club Together Scheme, in preparing the documents required for the successful application.
The Robertson Trust aims to improve the life and realise the potential of people and communities in Scotland. With this grant both The Robertson Trust and Fife AC intend to use the money to make positive differences to members’ lives through athletics. We will be focusing on helping young people gain transferable life skills and qualifications; providing education opportunities for our coaches, athletes and volunteers; extending coaching provision and integration for athletes with disabilities; and further developing training within the Fife AC catchment area.
