A friend has asked me to draw attention to the following workshop and I'm happy to do so. Even though I've never used pilates, it is something I've considered and this course could be very useful.

PILATES WORKSHOP FOR RUNNERS

Saturday 28th November, 12-3pm,

enhance your running experience, and recover more quickly from

A regular pilates routine can enhance your performance by
strengthening your core, improving posture and endurance, and
reducing muscular imbalances

For only £20, this 3 hour workshop will introduce you to the
benefits of pilates and will include:

-The biomechanics of running and muscle imbalance.
-How pilates can help you develop strength, endurance and flexibility.

A functional pilates class specific to the runner.
-Soft tissue work and essential stretches using small equipment.
-Time for questions and problem solving over coffee
