East District Cross Country League, Meeting 1

Unread post by roger rees »

The first of the season's three league meetings will be held at Stirling university on the 17th October, with the timetable given below: all event details can be found at the following link.

http://www.salroadrunningandcrosscountr ... 0Home.html

Please come along and support the club, with races for all age groups and no entry fee, and no registration required. Just turn up, do your best and enjoy yourself.

Fife AC run with a number 8 in this league; if you have a number 8 to pin on your club vest front, please do so, but we will have plenty of numbers (and pins) there on the day too. We will gather by the club banner and tent, enjoying the late summer sunshine!

It is a great course at Stirling, with grass and trail, ups and downs. It is suitable for spikes, studs and (if dry) flat shoes.

If anyone wants to run but has transport problems, please post on this thread and we will sort something out.

Roger is unable to attend tomorrow, so to be on the safe side athletes should bring their own race numbers (a large number 8), pins, and perhaps a transparent freezer bag or similar to protect the number from the elements.

Graham......................I'll be there well before 12 noon start with numbers and pins. I will pick up score cards. Folk can still bring their own immaculately lettered numbers if they so wish.
Allow ten minutes walk from car-parks to start area.
