Springwatch

Unread post by ktaylor »

Nice as it is to be out running at this time of year and seeing a bit of wildlife I thought I should pass on a word of warning to anyone running in the cupar area that there is quite a territorial buzzard nesting on the cupar to fernie road near the carslogie junction. I was running home from work mid week and it dive bombed me three times. Needless to say I sped up but on the fourth dive it caught me full on with its talons cutting me on the back of my head. I suspect it is probably defending a nest so would suggest maybe staying away for a couple of weeks or perhaps wear a helmet!
