STRATHKINNESS/BLEBO CRAIGS RACE, 15 APRIL 2015
The Strathkinness to Blebo Craigs race is on Wednesday, 15 April 2015. If you are available to help on the night, please post here. We could do with a few marshals out on the course, recorders/timekeepers on the finish and help to serve the post race teas.
Any donation of food for the teas would be appreciated.

A link to the event is here and any members that have not done this before should aim to register between 6:00 and 6:45 to ensure they can make it to the start line in a reasonable time.

Re: STRATHKINNESS/BLEBO CRAIGS RACE, 15 APRIL 2015
For many years we always gave prizes at Mid-Week Series and the series trophies were presented following the final race. Top three, three vets, over 50, over 60, over 70 in both male and female. How did this change? I am not necessarily advocating a return to that as sometimes the prizes always went to the same people.
It would be good, however, to recognise the male and female winner with a token small prize and give out a few spot prizes.
Comments.
ps it says on race info.....where there will also be the post-race tea and a few small prizes

I sure you remember, Graham, that it was decided around 3 years ago to hold an annual prize giving event at which prizes for the Midweek and Beveridge Park series would be presented rather than awarding prizes for individual races.
I agree that some sort of announcement should be made at the end of each race as otherwise runners mill around at the post race tea expecting something which does not happen.
