Boxing Day Race - Kirkcaldy

Unread post by Melville Scobie »

Fife A.C. will be staging their annual Boxing Day Race in the Beveridge Park in Kirkcaldy. The race is 1.3 miles long and takes place on the tarmac road within the park.
All athletes and potential athletes of all ages, shapes and sizes are welcome as the race is handicapped so that everyone has an equal opportunity to win. This is a family event so mums, dads and kids(grannies & grandpas too) can all come along to participate or spectate.
There is no entry fee but all runners are asked to bring a present of approximately £3 in value so that everyone who runs can be sure of leaving with a prize.
Runners should register in Kirkcaldy Rugby Club at 10.15am.
Showers and after-race refreshments will be available.

Also at Craigtoun Park, St Andrews.

The Craigtoun race offers one lap for youngsters (Straight race over one mile) and the 2 mile h/cap. Start time is 2.30pm near the top play park (near the north gate). Bring a prize (£2) ...take a prize.
As at Kirkcaldy......all levels, ages, etc. Family event.

Happy to help out setting up the start & finish line funnel (will bring chalk, tape and finish sign), will bring my pa system with microphone for you on the start.
