Re: British hill relays 2019 - runners are required

Unfortunately, I couldn't get enough runners for a team (of 6) this year. Hopefully, we will be able to enter a team next year when it may be taking place a bit closer to Fife. Hope to see you on the hills soon.

Re: Kingsbarns Fun Run Results

The annual Kingsbarns training run took place on Wednesday evening and raised the grand total of £334 for Tushinde Children’s Trust for disadvantaged children in Nairobi, Kenya. I am particularly grateful to a large number of Haddies who participated and, as always, gave generously, and for the help...

Sandy Slither - thank you

Well done and thank you to all the runners who gambled with the weather (or believed the forecast) and turned out for the Sandy Slither race: the rain cleared and provided good running conditions along this picturesque section of the Fife Coastal path. With entry fees and donations, over £100 was ra...

Re: Sandy Slither: Race Details & Registration

Pre-registration will close at 5pm on Wednesday 12 June. Runners can still enter on the day but if you are planning on racing it will help the registration and results team if you can register beforehand.

Thank you,

Arrochar Alps recces

The second SHR championship race is Arrochar Alps, taking place on 29 June. This is a long race and navigation can be tricky, particularly in mist. A couple of recces are being organised to walk (NOT run) around the route as follows: Sunday 12 May – Second half of route including Ben Ime (munro #3) ...

Re: UKA Hill Running Relay Championships - 20 Oct 2018

A report of the relay by a team from Tyne Bridge Harriers (at the following link) provides more of a flavour of the race than my rather tame effort above- it is an entertaining read.

Re: Paarlauf - Tuesday 31 July, Cupar

Well done and many thanks to all the runners who turned up for the summer paarlauf. An amazing £200 was raised and has been divided equally and donated to Help for Heroes and the RNLI. Also thanks to Dave Francis for setting up and clearing the course Liz Killean for time keeping and providing the s...
